  Nadsadjan Falls 

• This magnificent 100-foot waterfall cascades into a series of natural pools, attracting visitors with its refreshing blue waters. Reaching the falls requires a scenic trek along the Ig Bolo Creek, involving rock hopping and climbing  

 

  Mount Napulak 


 Standing at 1,200 feet above sea level, Mount Napulak is the highest peak in Igbaras. Its unique shape, resembling a woman's breast with a massive rock formation at the summit, makes it a striking landmark. From the peak, you can enjoy panoramic views of Iloilo province, Antique, and even Mount Kanlaon in Negros Occidental. 

 

Igcabugao Cave

 

 A three-hour hike from Barangay Passi leads to this fascinating cave, known for its underground basins and sparkling stalactite and stalagmite formations. The journey to the cave involves mountain climbing and traversing the cool waters of Igbolo Creek.



Guiritsan Falls

Tangyan River 

The lifeblood of Igbaras, Tang Yan River, is not only a source of livelihood for the locals but also a scenic spot for relaxation and enjoying the local culture. Igbaras Church Ruins: The ruins of the old limestone church, built in 1878, stand as a testament to the town's rich history. The church was once one of the longest church structures in Iloilo, but unfortunately, it was heavily damaged by an earthquake 2 .

 • Dayhag, Barangay Ig Cabugao: This campsite offers a serene escape from the city, perfect for stargazing, bonfires, and camping. The area is also a great starting point for exploring the Ig Cabugao Cave and trying wall climbing 3 4 .  

 

 Getting There: 

Igbaras is located approximately 39.9 kilometers from Iloilo City. You can reach the town by bus or van from Iloilo City, with the journey taking about an hour and a half. 

Tips for Visiting: 

Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Igbaras is during the dry season, from November to May, when the weather is pleasant and the waterfalls are at their fullest. 

Accommodation: There are limited accommodation options in Igbaras, so it's best to book in advance, especially during peak season. 

Transportation: Public transportation is available within Igbaras, but it's recommended to rent a motorcycle or hire a tricycle for easier access to the various tourist spots.
